| :: General rules - Breaking these rules can and will get you banned for repeated violations! |

- Racism will not be tolerated at any level. SpB is not the place for this kind of behavior. Period.
- No spoilers allowed anywhere on the site! This includes torrent comments, the shout box, and on the forums but with an exception. The only place you can talk about recently played games are on a forum topic that strictly calls for such discussion. The creator must give a clear warning in the topic title or face the consequences.
- Excessively foul language is not permitted. We are all adults here. You can show your emotion just don't go too far with it.
- You are not allowed to request Freeleech on torrents. Freeleech is given at the sole discretion of the Staff. Do not ask because this will only ensure you will never get it.
- You are not allowed to make torrent requests. This feature is reserved for Power Users class (and above). With that said, all requests must go in the Request section.
- DO NOT TYPE MESSAGES IN ALL CAPS LIKE THIS AS IT IS CONSIDERED SHOUTING. Not only is it annoying, but also makes it more difficult to read your message. If your keyboard is jammed, fix it, buy a new one, or don't post a comment at all.

| :: Downloading Guidelines - Be sure to read this section CAREFULLY! It is important that you understand them. |

- You are expected to try and maintain a 1.0 ratio as best as you can. This means you must give back (seed) as much as you have taken.
- The minimal ratio requirement is 0.50 once you have downloaded a total of 6 GBs. Try not to dip below this level or you will find that you need to raise your ratio all the way up to 0.70 to remove the warning that will have been accessed.
- When under warned (
 ) status, there will be a time limit set in which you must then raise your ratio to meet the requirement mentioned above. You will be banned automatically once the timer expires to 0hr: 00min: 00sec. This cannot be undone by staff! (why would we want to, anyway?)
- Access to the newest torrents is conditional on a good ratio! (See the FAQ for details.)
- 'User' class will only be able to leech 2 torrents at a time. Raise your class if you want more downloading slots.
- Do not upload our torrents to other trackers. (See the FAQ for details.) Torrents labeled SPB are not to be uploaded on any other tracker as these are exclusive SPB releases.
- You must have legal rights to the file you are downloading.

- No trashing of other peoples topics (e.g. SPAM).
- English only! Except in the International section.
- No linking or requesting serialz, crackz, warez, etc.
- No double-posting. If you forgot to mention something, edit your last post by clicking the [edit] link.
- Topicality is enforced! So make sure you post your topic in the correct forum.
- Last, please read the FAQ before asking any questions!

| :: Avatar Guidelines - Please try to follow these guidelines |

- The allowed formats are .gif, .jpg and .png.
- Be considerate. Resize your images to a width of 150 px and a size of no more than 150 KB.
(Browsers will rescale them anyway: smaller images will be expanded and will not look good;
larger images will just waste bandwidth and CPU cycles.) For now this is just a guideline but
it will be automatically enforced in the near future.
- Do not use potentially offensive material involving porn/nude images, religious material, animal / human cruelty or ideologically charged images. Mods have wide discretion on what is acceptable. If in doubt PM one.

- All uploads must include proper Media Info. Media Info must include video codec, video resolution, video bitrate, audio codec, audio bitrate, and length of video file. Don't even think about filling in fake info. A mod WILL notice it.
- Screenshots must be included in all torrents. No resized or upscaled screenshots allowed! Screenshot resolution must match the video resolution that you provided. Recommended picture format is .PNG!
- Better Basketball material is not allowed here so don't even think about it. There's a good chance you will get banned for violating this rule.
- Try to follow the file naming format as best as you can. Example:
NBA.2008.10.16.Nuggets@Suns.x264-invy.mp4
- Minimum File size for a torrent is currently 100 MB. Any torrents under 100 MB will be deleted.
- Make sure your torrents are well-seeded for at least 24 hours or until you have reached 5 or more seeders in the swarm. If you can not seed your torrent for 24 hours make sure to post a comment saying when you will be back so staff doesn't delete the torrent.
- Failure to follow any of the mentioned rules above will have your torrent deleted on sight!
- Stay active! You risk being demoted if you have no active torrents.

| :: Moderating Rules - Use your best judgement! |

- The most important rule: Use your best judgment!
- Don't defy another mod in public, instead send a PM or through IM.
- Be tolerant! Give the user(s) a chance to reform.
- Don't act prematurely, let the users make their mistakes and THEN correct them.
- Try correcting any "off topics" rather than closing a thread.
- Move topics rather than locking them.
- Be tolerant when moderating the shout box (give them some slack).
- If you lock a topic, give a brief explanation as to why you're locking it.
- Before you disable a user account, send him/her a PM and if they reply, put them on a 2 week trial.
- Don't disable a user account until he or she has been a member for at least 4 weeks.
- Always state a reason (in the user comment box) as to why the user is being banned / warned.

- You can edit the title of VIP's.
- You can see the complete info of all users.
- You can add comments to users (for other mods and admins to read).
